Getting Ready for Camp

Winter Camp is on the way and we have much work to.   We will be going over items that you will need to bring on our camping trip such as outer wear and indoor items.  Camps are a lot of fun when you have the right gear.   There will also be some crafts, stories and gamed to play.  See you Wednesday!

Beavers and Robbie Burns

It is going to be a lot of fun at the pond this week as we will be celebrating Robbie Burns Day.  To celebrate we will be singing some songs and may do some poetry.  It will be a lot of fun.

Mall Scavenger Hunt

Since the temperature for Beaver Skate 2012 is expected to be below -30 and more near the temperature of liquid Nitrogen we have decided to postpone out Skate night.  We will be meeting at the Southgate Mall Food Court for a Mall Scavenger Hunt.

With the weather colder it is time we left the lodge for some fun on the pond. The Beavers will be going skating this week at the new Jackie Parker Park (4540 50 Street) this January 18th at 6:30 PM.

Back at the Pond 2012

Hope everyone has had a great holiday break and is ready to get back to bringing on the adventure.  Beavers will be learning about domesticated animals this week and meeting our new leader.  We will be meeting on January 11th at the Parkallen Elementary School starting at 6:30 PM.
