Since the weather is getting warmer we will be meeting at the Millwoods Park (2730 - 66 Street) at 6:30 PM on January 28th, for some tobogganing fun. Please dress for the weather and bring a helmet. See all you there.

Bring a Friend

Songs, Cheers, Camp Fires and other camp fun we will be continuing this week at the school as part of our preparations for Winter Camp. Over the next few weeks we will be going over Winter Safety topics, such as, how to keep warm and how to play safe in the snow.

We are continuing our Bring a Friend this week. This is an event were a Beaver can bring a friend to the meeting and earn a badge.

Next week we will be going tobogganing.

Countdown to Winter Camp 2009

The countdown to Winter Camp 2009 has begun.  For next two weeks the Beavers will be preparing for a Weekend fun at Camp Evansburg.  We will be meeting at the Parkallen School to go over winter safety, songs and games.

This year the Beavers vow to win the cub car challenge by making the fastest Beaver Buggie ever.  Beavers have a history of making the fastest buggies at 24th Parkallen and will come home with the title Fastest Car At Camp.  

Rainbow, Sunshine and me (Hawkeye) look forward to seeing you all at this weeks meeting.

I hope everyone has had a great time off but it is now time to get ready for some winter fun.  Our first meeting back will be on January 7th at Parkallen School at 6:30 PM.  

Some of the fun we are going to have over the next few months will be the Winter Camp in February, Skiing in March and sleep over at the Royal Tyrell Musem in April.
