Hey, Beavers and Beaver-parents! Bubbles here with an update on the second half of the Beavers year.
For January 11, we are at Parkallen School.
For January 18, we would like to have all the Beavers bring at least two empty tissue boxes.
For Beaver-parents, if you are interested, or willing, to volunteer for the camp committee, it would be greatly appreciated. For more information about this, talk to Hawkeye, Rainbow or myself about it.
The schedule for the second half is tentatively as follows (with the name of the child responsible for the snack in parentheses immediately after):
Jan 11: Welcome back meeting and investiture. This will take place at the school. Kieran will be invested so parents with cameras are more than welcome. (Jonathan)
Jan 18: Olympic night. This will take place at the school. Each Beaver is requested to bring at least two empty Kleenex boxes, if possible. (Adam L)
Jan 25: Buddy night and Robbie Burns day. This will take place at the school. (Kieran)
Feb 1: Skating. This is tentatively at the Legislature grounds. Directions to parking and to the event will be posted later. (Adam S)
Feb 8: Outdoor meeting and camp prep. This will take place at the school. (Ryan)
Feb 10: Winter Camp! Details to follow.
Feb 15: No meeting.
Feb 22: Baden Powell's Birthday. This will take place at the school. (Matthew)
Mar 1: Skiing, tentatively. Edmonton Ski Club. (Kaegan)
Mar 8: Gladiator night. This will take place at the school. (Mark)
Mar 15: Aboriginal Dancers. This will take place at the school. (Sydney)
Mar 22: Curling, tentatively. More details to follow. (Nicholas)
Mar 29: No meeting.
Apr 5: Holes garden centre, tentatively. More details to follow. (Jonathan)
April 12: Easter meeting at Emily Murpy Park. More details to follow. (Adam L)
April 19: No meeting.
April 21: Overnight trip. Details to follow.
Apr 26: Swim-up. This takes place at the school. (Kieran)
There will also be a Spring camp at some point but I do not know the details of this yet. As I learn them, I will keep you posted.
